SBliD (SBML like Database) release 30 Jan '06 00:46

Dear SBML users,
We would like to announce to the SBML community the last realease of
SBliD (SBML like Database) framework (http://www-timc.imag.fr/timb/SBliD/).

SBliD (SBML like Database) is a generic web-based database framework
whose specifications are very close to SBML (System Biology Markup
Language) ones. It aims to organize data in relation with a biochemical
reaction network, and especially all the experimental kinetic
parameters, and to help researchers to create models from these data.
Two softwares have been developed for this database: SBliD.Manager and
SBliD.Builder.

SBliD.Manager is a web interface for manipulating data of a SBliD
database. It is written in PHP, Javascript and HTML.

SBliD.Builder is a Java interface for creating models from the data
of a SBliD database.

The softwares were developed in the team TIMB, in the TIMC-IMAG lab
(CNRS UMR 5525 and Joseph Fourier University) in Grenoble. They are
distributed under the CeCILL license (almost similar to the GPL license)

For more information and downloads, you can visit the SBliD webpage:

Please feel free to contact us (SBliD@imag.fr) with
any questions or bug reports you may have.

Thanks,

Julien Berro and Jean-Louis Martiel
