SBML documents are checked for basic XML validity, compliance with
the SBML XML Schemas, and adherence to the SBML specification through
a set of detailed consistency checks. The new user interface makes
it easy to see exactly what errors have occurred and jump to the
error location in the SBML document.
In addition to the web interface, you can use the validator remotely
over the web and request output in variety of formats. For more
information, see:
If you would like to play with the validator, but do not have a set
SBML documents handy, you can try out a variety of cases by putting
the validator into test mode:
We ask only that you do not click on the test case 'simulate-
segfault.txt'. As tempting as it might be, this sends an email to
the SBML Team. If everyone does it, we'll be bombarded with fake
crash messages. :)
