Following the lack of any objections to the proposal made on
April 15 [1], we have implemented the following list changes:
* "libsbml-discuss" is now "sbml-interoperablity".
Effective immediately, please use the new address
sbml-interoperablity@caltech.edu. The scope of the new
list is discussions of software implementation and support
of SBML, interoperability between SBML-aware software, and
questions and requests about SBML software. Discussions
can include libSBML, but are not limited to that -- you
can ask about and discuss any SBML-compatible software.
Everyone who was previously subscribed to libsbml-discuss
is subscribed to sbml-interoperablity. The only detail is
that your mailing list password had to be reset [2].
(Note: this is true *only* of the mailing list proper, not
the web forum interface to the list. If you had a
password for the web forum, it has *not* been changed.)
The monthly list reminder will include your new password.
* A new list, "libsbml-development", is now available.
libsbml-development@caltech.edu is for discussions of the
continued development of libSBML, including support,
portability, feature requests, etc. This list is most
appropriate for people who are (want to be) working on
libSBML, including support of upcoming SBML Level 3.
No one has been subscribed to libsbml-development.
Everyone is welcome to subscribe if you're interested.
Please visit the registration page (click on the
"Register" link on http://sbml.org/Forums ) if you want
to subscribe to the list or use the web interface.
All of the lists are @caltech.edu. All of them have web
interfaces on http://sbml.org/Forums/.

[2] The change required the creation of a new list, not a
true renaming of the lists; consequently, everyone had
to be subscribed afresh to the new list, resulting in
new list passwords being assigned.
