Dear SBML Community,

at the least SBML Forum meeting Brett presented ideas for an extension of
SBML Level 3 in order to encode models suitable for flux balance analysis.
After this meeting we went ahead and formalized our thoughts in the proposal
below:

we also developed first prototypical implementations in a SBW Module for
Flux Balance Analysis, and a PySCeS FBA module and were able to successfully
exchange models.

Now we are interested in hearing your thoughts about it.
