It turned out that the model that crashed the validator was mine. The
problem was that I used Model instead of model. I would propose that
every location in the standard where the word model is in a monospace
font, it should be lower case. These locations include (I think this is a
full list, but I'm not sure):

Sections, paragraph
4.1, 1
4.2, 1 (twice)
4.2, 2
4.2, 3 (twice)
Figure 5 caption
4.5, 2
4.7.3, 1
4.7.5, 1
4.7.6, 1
4.9.5, 1
4.9.5, 2
4.9.5, 6
4.9.6, 2
4.9.7, 3
4.9.7, 5
4.10, 1
Appendix B, bullet 7
Appendix B, bullet 8

In my opinion, those changes would make the document easier to read.
