We must be very carefully here. The sboTerm is optional meaning the
MathML is still authoritative. The question remains what number or
function does an empty math element mean. I would interpret it as not a
number (NaN). If the sboTerm contradicts this, we again have to inform
the user about the problem. It may be good to have an sboTerm for an
undefined/unknown kinetic law which evaluates to NaN.
