I am still not certain to understand what you mean by "document", but it
seems to me it is a relationship between two genes, like "activates", or
"represses".
Therefore, one should use reactants for the upstream genes and products
for the downstream. One can then use piecewise construct to obtain
discrete model, like if A=0, dB/dt=k, otherwise dB/dt=0, where A is
upstrea; and B downstream.
etc.
